Nissim Levi was a founding director of Indian Carpet Manufacturers Ltd., launched by Vitali Victor Behar and consolidated in 1919. Levi lived at 32 Teignmouth Road, Cricklewood, N.W. 2 and was an Oriental carpet importer. He was likely related to Behar’s wife, Laura Behar, née Levi.
